Recently, the Redmi K100 Pro Max has emerged in a new series of gaming performance evaluations prior to its official launch, providing an initial glimpse into what users might anticipate from Xiaomi’s forthcoming flagship device. According to Redmi Product Manager Xinxin_Mia, the findings indicate that the upcoming smartphone aims to prioritize not just peak performance but also enhanced efficiency during intensive tasks.

Gaming tests of the Redmi K100 Pro Max demonstrate consistent performance

As per the gaming benchmark results shared by reviewer New Technology, the Redmi K100 Pro Max features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a specialized D2 display chip, and a robust 9070mAh battery. Reviewer Xinxin_Mia noted that Redmi has enhanced the performance tuning of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 compared to earlier versions.

The manufacturer asserts that battery life is approximately 40 percent improved over its predecessor, while also providing more stable sustained performance. The phone is set to launch on August 11, ahead of the anticipated schedule.

The gaming tests published corroborate these assertions across various popular titles. In Honor of Kings, the Redmi K100 Pro Max achieved an average of 119.7fps while consuming only 3.63W of power, with the temperature reaching 41.5°C after a 60-minute gaming session. Peace Elite recorded an average of 119.7fps at 4.09W, with a maximum temperature of 44.4°C. Delta Force averaged 119.5fps while using 5.37W, with the device peaking at 45.3°C.

The phone also performed well with Genshin Impact, achieving an average of 59.9fps with a power consumption of 4.67W and a peak temperature of 44.1°C. Honkai: Star Rail presented the most significant challenge, where the device averaged 55.6fps, consumed 6.80W, and reached a temperature of 52.2°C. Nevertheless, the published graphs indicate that performance remained competitive even under these demanding conditions.
